The route of the Templars (setting off from Hontanar), which includes a visit to a necropolis, towers, castles, bridges and the best preserved high medieval temple in the Iberian peninsula (the Santa María de Melque Church).

The location of the house, with minimum light contamination, offers spectacular night skies for the observation of the stars. We have several pieces of astronomy equipment: a telescope to look at the planets, deepsky astronomy (cumulus, nebulae, galaxies …) and binoculars to allow us to observe the Milky Way.

The mountains of Toledo include some very important birdlife protection areas or Zepa and natural places of regional interest or “lics”, for the best places to watch the birdlife and fauna.

Enological routes, with the possibility of visiting several wine producers in the surrounding area, some of which offer wine tasting sessions.

Around the house there are manyplaces where to pick mushrooms.
